Weekend Recap

Good Morning Everybody!

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to venture to Toronto on a mini vacation to see a great friend of ours who moved out there for school. A mini vacation was much needed for many of us as we all missed seeing each other and needed to just step back from our school responsibilities for a little bit and just have some fun! We went downtown on Friday and saw the Ferrero Rocher dome where you can take photos with the fireplace and Christmas tree, share the photo on any social media and get a scratch card with which you can win a prize immediately. We also did a little bit of shopping in the Eaton’s Center and eventually made our way down to the Distillery District for the Toronto Christmas Market. That was probably the best part of the day. The set up was totally adorable and had a small village feel within the big city, which was just so magical and encouraged the Christmas Spirit πŸ˜›

On Saturday, my family and I went to cut down our very own Christmas tree on a farm close to London, Ontario. The farm features campfires to relax by, a hay maze, horse and buggy rides, goats, mini ponies, an intense playground with zip lining and pony rides! We’ve been going there for several years now and I just love it! We stopped for some blueberry pie before heading home to decorate our tree πŸ™‚

This was a process. But worth it! My mom made this her masterpiece I think πŸ˜›
