February Beauty Buys

February beauty buysI luckily discovered these three products towards the end of the month of February and they have quickly transitioned into my holy grail, most coveted products – that’s saying a lot isn’t it? I say this hoping that you guys will possibly take a chance and try these three new products out. Or if you’re willing, offer some new options for me to try – I’m always on the hunt for new products to give a go.

February beauty buysThis winter has been particularly harsh towards my skin. I usually deal with combination skin, with an extremely oily t-zone. But lately, I’ve been trying to deal with normal to even dry skin, which has been a new challenge. I have the luxury of working at the Body Shop and being able to try our products – but unfortunately nothing was cutting it for me. That’s when I stumbled upon an article where Jennifer Aniston swore by the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer. I know of course that she is the spokeswoman for it – but I decided to give it a go, and oh boy was it worth it! My skin is no longer suffering from dry patches, and it’s looking more radiant that before, plus it has an spf 15 which is just perfect for the winter weather.

february beauty buysI have been a big fan of Real Techniques brushes, not only are they much more affordable for a student like me, but they are great quality. While out running errands, I picked up the flat top stippling brush and I don’t regret it one bit. It’s been great in applying my foundation flawlessly. It doesn’t create lines when blending and the brush itself doesn’t hold onto the product, making me use a lot less. It’s just been a great brush that has reduced makeup application time, which is perfect when rushing to get out the door and get to class on time.

February beauty buysI have always loved the idea of attaining perfect beachy waves, but I just haven’t been able to find the perfect product for my hair… until I found this TRESemmé’s sea salt spray. It has been a lifesaver on days that I have no time to put too much effort into my hair, but it still allows me to look presentable. I think what definitely lets me hop on board with this product is how inexpensive it is – a totally awesome drugstore find that I recommend 100%.

Any recommendations that I need to try next month? Let me know in the comment section down below!!
