Everyday Makeup

As school is just starting, I couldn’t think of a better time to talk about my every day makeup, the products I could NOT, in a million years live without. They are the few products I know I can use that I know will not fail me, will help me look my best, and the fastest – because I’m always waking up way too late to give myself more than 5 minutes to get ready before I need to rush to get to school.

Starting with the first product I use, I absolutely need a primer to make sure my makeup stays on all day, especially on my longest days – going from school directly to work. This primer, I swear has been a game changer on my skin. Not only does it feel great on my skin, but it looks the clearest it has in awhile, and I think the new products I’ve been using have been helping.

I rarely wear a full coverage foundation, on a regular basis I prefer a tinted moisturizer. It’s lighter and keeps my skin hydrated in the dry weather, without making my skin look and feel oily. This one in particular is great, and I think a reason my skin has been feeling its best. In order for my makeup to stay in place I like to use a translucent powder to set everything, this one is my go-to, it works magic.

I cannot go a day without bronzer. In my opinion, it’s the only thing I need to complete my look. I use this bronzer everyday, and I don’t think I go a day without using it, you can be subtle with it, or contour with it, and can be used by many skin tones, which makes it perfect. If I have extra time in the morning, I will add a bit of blush, usually this one or this one.

For eyes and brows I keep it pretty simple. I use this brow gel, it’s easy to use, and does the job perfectly, which helps to keep my getting ready time down. For eyes, I use two products, this kohl liner by MAC, and this L’Oreal mascara. Sometimes I will smudge out the liner, or just keep it bold, depending on the day. But it is the perfect everyday look. For my lips, I keep it simple with this nude gloss. It’s moisturizing but keeps it light and fresh for a day of school or work.
